Brain Waves: A Stroke Support Group

Please join us for our community stroke support meeting for patients and caregivers. Depression is a common aftereffect of stroke and you don't have to go it alone. Brain Waves is a stroke support group that meets on the third Thursday of the month from 2 to 3:30 pm at the NCH Kirchoff Center. Every monthmonth, the program includes a meet-and-greet, a guest speaker and light refreshments. The program is free of charge but advance registration is required. Heart Throbs / ICD Support Group

For individuals who have an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) and their families. For more information, call the Pacemaker Clinic at 847.618.7920.

Mended Hearts

A national organization dedicated to providing support and information to heart patients and their families. The group meets on the first Monday of every month (except holidays) from 7 to 9 pm in the Learning Center (Room LC-5), which is located in the lower level of the Busse Center at Northwest Community Hospital.
