Free blood pressure screenings

We provide free blood pressure screenings every Tuesday from 9 am to noon – and walk-ins are welcome at 901 W. Kirchoff. Free screenings are also available by appointment at:

Cholesterol screenings

Cholesterol screenings include a complete lipid profile: total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides. Screening is done by finger-stick with immediate results. A 12 to 15 hour fast prior to screening is required. NCH offers these screenings for a nominal fee, either quarterly or bi-annually. Check the Online Events Guide for upcoming dates and times.

Skin cancer screenings

Skin cancer screenings are offered annually, and are sponsored by NCH's Cancer Services department, free to the community. During the screening, an examination of the skin on a particular area of concern of your body (for example, your face, back, or neck) is performed by a board-certified, NCH medical staff Dermatologist. Registration is required.

Prostate cancer screenings

Because prostate cancer often has no early warning symptoms, it's important to have regular screening tests to find prostate cancer in its early stages, when it's still curable. Don't wait. Consult your personal physician and make sure you get checked regularly. NCH offers bi-annual prostate cancer screenings. For a nominal fee you will receive a blood test and physical exam by a board certified Urologist.
