Community Outreach • Community Health Initiatives

NCH’s mission is to provide quality, compassionate healthcare services to you, the people of the northwest suburbs. This commitment applies to everyone who lives and/or works in the community.

Based on Community Assessment results, NCH is working with several community organizations to develop initiatives that address three important health concerns that impact the community. These include:

• Tobacco dependence – to provide help and resources for you to stop smoking
• Pediatric overweight – to provide help and resources for you, your children and educators to learn how to lose weight
• Prostate screenings – to provide free prostate screenings twice a year and resources for you to learn more about prostate problems and the importance of screenings

We will be committing our time and resources in addressing these health issues and investing in our most valuable commodity…our comm(you)nity.
