Endowment

The Foundation established a philanthropic endowment program in late 2003 to help provide security and flexibility to Northwest Community Hospital. Endowment gifts are held and invested in perpetuity, with only earnings from the investment used to support programs and services in the future. At the end of fiscal year 2007, the endowment program had reached $2.7 million in commitments.
