Event Highlights
2007 Fashion Show
October 12th was a successful day of highlighting the latest fashions while raising awareness and funds for NCH programs. This year's proceeds from the Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show went to help fund another breast health specialist position at the Breast Center. Chaired by Kathy Balcom, the event was an opportunity for more than 600 guests to support the Breast Center while enjoying a grand prize raffle, silent auction, pick-a-prize raffle and lunch at the newly renovated Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows.
2007 President's Circle Celebration
It was an evening for seeing philanthropy in action while enjoying cocktails and dinner at Makray Memorial Golf Club on September 28th. More than 200 guests enjoyed presentations by breast health specialist Donna Teper, radiologist Dr. Vinay Singh and Diane Colville, manager of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Animal Assisted Therapy. All three presentations highlighted the new programs and technologies that philanthropic gifts made possible in 2007. The evening closed with a well received visit from two dogs and their handlers who are trained to take part in the Animal Assisted Therapy program.
