Northwest Community’s 52nd annual Fashion Show benefit drew 355 guests to the Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows on Friday, October 8, 2010. Guests enjoyed bidding on silent auction items and taking chances on raffle prizes—along with a delicious luncheon and the latest fall fashions from Saks Fifth Avenue, Highland Park. Produced by ZZAZZ Productions, the fashion show had everything from short jackets to long boots—from cozy sweaters and casual slacks to rich furs and elegant evening gowns.
Featured speaker Julie Wubs captured everyone’s attention with a riveting story on how NCH’s rapid response saved the life of stroke patient Arlene Patterson. Net proceeds from the event came to more than $70,000 for our cause: a new diagnostic imaging center in NCH’s Emergency Room.
