The Living Legacy Society

Ann Zigrossi, Malcolm Bilimoria and Kathy Lamont

Oncology surgeon Malcolm Bilimoria, MD, his patient Ann Zigrossi (left) and Gastroenterology Services Director Kathy Lamont (right) all spoke eloquently at the 2011 Living Legacy Luncheon, held May 7th. A world-renowned specialist in the treatment of pancreatic cancer, Dr. Bilimoria directs NCH's Illinois Center for Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary Diseases. He literally saved Ann's life after many academic medical centers told her "nothing more could be done." Planned gifts play a strong role in supporting extraordinary programs such as Dr. Bilimoria's center.

The Living Legacy Society is an association of forward thinking individuals who share a commitment to advancing excellence at NCH. The charitable gifts from our legacy donors make it possible for NCH to continue to provide the level of care you have come to expect.

The Living Legacy Society Luncheon

All members of the society are invited to a special luncheon each year in recognition of their generosity. The luncheon offers an opportunity to network with other society members and learn about the latest developments at NCH. The 2012 event is scheduled for Saturday, May 12. Guests will have an opportunity to visit the donor appreciation display in the Hospital's main entrance hall, where names of legacy donors who choose to be recognized are listed.
