NCH takes pride in providing its employees with a very comprehensive benefits package.

The following is a partial list of available benefits offered to all Hospital employees, full time and part time (at least 20 hours per week).

Medical Insurance

• Three plan options are available: A Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and two consumer-driven healthcare plans.
• Prescription drug program
• Vision plan

Dental Insurance

• Both a Preferred Provider Organization and a managed dental care plan are available

Flexible spending accounts for both medical and dependent care

Life Insurance:

• One times annual base salary up to $50,000 at no cost to employee
• Option to purchase additional one or two times annual base salary
• Option to purchase life insurance for spouse and/or dependent children

Disability Insurance

• Both short and long term provided at no cost
• Option to purchase additional short-term

Pension

• Matching 401(K) Plan through Fidelity
• Vesting in the 401K is immediate
• Annual Service Award Contribution available for eligible employees

Paid Time Plan (PTP)

Based on hours worked:

• 1-4 years can accrue up to 18 days
• 4-9 years can accrue up to 23 days
• 9-19 years can accrue 28 days
• 20 years and over can accrue 30 days

Holidays

• Six paid holidays for eligible employees
