How do I apply for a job at Northwest Community Hospital?
Applications, open positions and general job descriptions can be found on our website www.nch.org. On the bottom of our home page, follow the JOBS link to our employment section. There you will be able to search and view the list of open positions. We no longer use paper applications, so you must apply online.



I do not have a computer at home. How can I apply for a job?
We encourage interested applicants to visit their public libraries, where computers with internet service are available to the public. You may also visit the NCH Human Resources department, located in the Kirchoff Center, and use the computer kiosks to apply for a job between 7:30am - 4pm, Monday through Friday.



I do not have an email address. Can I apply for a job without one?
You do need an email address in order to complete an application. We have provided a link on our application to “Gmail” where you can create a free account. Northwest Community Hospital will send a confirmation email back to you after receipt of your application.



Can I send Northwest Community Hospital my paper resume?
No, please do not send in paper resumes.  You may attach your resume to your completed application, which is then sent to the appropriate recruiter.



How do I know Northwest Community Hospital received my application?
Please supply a current email address on your application.  A response will be emailed back to you stating we received your application and have sent it on to the recruiter for review.



Do I have to fill out another application if I am interested in more than one position at Northwest Community Hospital?
Yes, you do have to fill out an application for each position you are interested in, as they are forwarded to the respective recruiter and departments.

No, we do not have general applications. You must choose an open, posted position that matches your qualifications and apply for that specific job.



Does Northwest Community Hospital have a specific application for new nurse graduates to complete?
Yes, NCH does have an application for new graduate RNs entitled, "Nurse Resident," which is only posted on the website when we are currently accepting applications for this position. The "Nurse Resident" application can be found under "Nursing/Patient Care" in the Jobs by Category listing. Please see "Recent RN Graduates" in our Jobs section to find out more about our new grad program, and if applications are currently being accepted.


How long does Northwest Community Hospital keep my application?
Applications are kept on file for three months.



Can I call to check on the status of my application?
No followup is necessary, as every application is reviewed and acknowledged with an email from the Human Resources employment team.



How soon could I expect to hear from someone regarding my application at Northwest Community Hospital?
If your qualifications and background meet our requirements, you would be contacted by a recruiter within two weeks.
