Immediate mammogram results with Results by Request™

An NCH signature service, Results by Request™ gives you a choice of how you'd like to receive your results. When you schedule a half hour visit, you'll receive the results by mail within five business days. Or, you can also arrange for a one-hour appointment and receive immediate results at the time of your visit.

Three mammography centers, designed for your comfort and convenience

• Prompt service, short wait times, and convenient scheduling, including evenings and Saturdays
• Choose from three convenient locations in Schaumburg, Buffalo Grove or at the hospital in Arlington Heights
• Private changing and waiting rooms
• Expert, caring female mammography technologists
• Full-screen digital mammography – allows data to be stored on a computer and enhanced or manipulated for thorough evaluation
• Image Checker® Computer Aided Detection (CAD) System – enhances the radiologist's accuracy when reading mammograms
• Extra Gentle Mammograms – designed specifically for women who avoid mammograms because of pain or anxiety. This individualized approach may include anesthesia, flexible panels and Mammo Pads®, which provide soft cushions during the procedure.
• Experienced, board-certified radiologists. Together, the NCH team reads more than 25,000 diagnostic exams each year!

Medical expertise combined with compassion if further testing is required

• Breast Health Care Specialists, specially trained experienced nurses, will answer all of your questions, coordinate your care and be with you every step of the way
• A multidisciplinary team of specialists including radiologists, oncologists, surgeons, and radiation oncologists who meet on a weekly basis to review diagnosed cases and discuss treatment options
• Complete follow-up including additional testing and procedures to correctly diagnose any abnormalities

Program for Women at High-Risk for Breast Cancer – PEARLS

• The PEARLS program (Prevention and Empowerment through Assessment of Risks and Lifetime Surveillance) helps you if you're at high-risk for breast cancer
• NCH specialists can develop a personal risk assessment and pro-health plan for you
