When you need lab or imaging services - like a mammogram, an X-ray or a blood test – you want to get it done quickly and easily. That’s why NCH has six conveniently located outpatient facilities that can perform laboratory testing and a wide variety of imaging services.

Walk-in laboratory tests

Lab tests require a doctor’s order. No appointment necessary.

NCH lab sites perform over 1 million lab tests a year, providing you and your doctor with immediate results for many tests. This means that you won’t have to wait days or weeks to know the results. And, if there is a problem, your doctor can start treatment earlier and you’ll be on the road to recovery sooner.

• Walk-in services at all six outpatient locations, plus the Hospital outpatient lab
• All tests require a doctor’s order
• Testing is performed at the NCH Laboratory where board-certified pathologists, chemist and clinical microbiologist oversee all testing

Expert imaging services

NCH imaging locations generate more than 300,000 diagnostic images every year. We use the latest diagnostic imaging technologies to help accurately diagnose your condition, including:

• Digital mammography
• Digital X-ray
• Bone density scans (DEXA)
• CT scan
• Heart stress testing
• MRI & Open MRI
• Nuclear medicine
• Ultrasound
