Advanced therapies to help you function independently

At NCH, the goal of our physical rehabilitation services is to help you reach the highest level of functioning and independence possible. In many instances, we combine specialists from several disciplines, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy, and treatment in a variety of settings. We may begin your physical rehabilitation program in the hospital and continue on an outpatient basis or continue through home care.

Whether you're recovering from orthopedic surgery such as a hip or knee joint replacement, a stroke or any other injury or illness, your physical rehabilitation plan will be designed around a series of measurable goals. Progress is closely monitored to make sure the goals of your physical rehabilitation program are attained. In addition, NCH provides you, your family and caregivers with the knowledge and tools needed to help you meet your goals and get moving again.
