Juli Aistars RN, APN – Your Prostate Nurse Navigator

If you are diagnosed with prostate problems or cancer, NCH’s prostate healthcare specialist is here to complement the expertise and skills of your physician. Juli Aistars, an experienced member of the NCH care team, is available to answer your questions, guide you through your medical care and give you and your family both practical and emotional support.

She can provide assistance in scheduling tests and appointments, deal with financial issues, explain various treatment options and find referrals and second opinions. Whether you just want someone to talk to, or need additional counseling or a support group, Juli is here for you at 847.618.6572.

Clinical Trials

NCH participates in a variety of clinical trials to evaluate the effectiveness of new medicines, therapies and treatments.

As a patient, you may be eligible to participate in clinical research. You’ll have the opportunity to receive the most advanced drug therapies or procedures that are only available when you participate in a clinical study.

These new therapies and procedures may improve your care and that of other patients as well. Your physician will discuss which clinical trials are appropriate for your condition.
