To the staff at Northwest Community Hospital:
Words cannot express how appreciative I am for the superior care you provided my husband, Josh.
From the time he arrived in the ER until he was discharged, you showed a personal interest in his case. I truly appreciate the time you spent explaining each procedure in a way that was easy to understand. You helped make a very stressful time easier to cope with, and for that I am grateful.
When Josh was discharged from the hospital, my 2-year-old daughter, Madison, was giddy with excitement. Even at such a young age, she had sensed something was wrong. With his arrival home, her safe world was finally restored.
As we brought her upstairs to get ready for bed, she took both Josh's hand and my hand in hers, as is our custom every night. I was touched by this simple gesture because I couldn't help but reflect that our family of three, soon to be four, was complete once again.
How can I possibly say thank you for saving a life? Thanks to you we have a lifetime in which to do it.
With deepest gratitude,
