If you are visiting this page because you recently lost a baby, please accept our condolences. Our Renew Through Sharing program is here to provide support for families within our community experiencing a pregnancy loss through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or newborn death. There are no fees. You are welcome to participate in our group or activities whether you received care at NCH or not.
If you are a patient at NCH, our Renew Through Sharing staff will visit and offer support during your hospitalization. We recognize the special needs of pregnancy loss patients — acknowledgement of the loss, emotional support for you and your family, educational material on your type of loss and follow-up contact if desired. Spiritual care is also available at any time, day or night, 7 days per week.
NCH is a cosponsor of the Northwest Suburban Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group. This group meets the second Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in Hoffman Estates. For more information please call Pam Ferguson at 847.618.8415 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Memorial Garden is located just outside the Village Café at NCH. It was built through donations from community members, staff and bereaved parents and was dedicated in 2003 to the memory of all babies lost during pregnancy or as newborns.
Tears Together is our monthly newsletter. It includes personal stories, educational topics and information on upcoming events. To view a sample newsletter, click here. To subscribe to the mailed or emailed version, please send your request to email@example.com.
