If your child has a strong support system at home yet requires a more structured approach than what is offered in a typical school setting, we usually recommend our Day Treatment Program. Your child will spend a minimum of 8 hours a day at our center yet still be allowed to go home at night.
With this program, you and your child receive both individual and group counseling focused on skill building and relapse prevention. Families and patients work with our entire clinical treatment team of staff psychiatrist, licensed social workers and substance abuse counselors, licensed social workers and professional nurses. Our two certified teachers will coordinate your child’s school work through your school district so he or she will not fall behind in class.
Once the program is completed, we provide ongoing assessments and continuing care. You will also be connected with community-based resources and support groups.
