Last month, Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) was selected one of “Chicago’s Top Workplaces 2011” by the Chicago Tribune in a special magazine insert within the newspaper. The list identifies the best 100 places to work in the Chicago metropolitan area. NCH ranks 11 among 20 in the large-company category.
This is the second year of the Tribune’s Top Workplaces survey, and NCH has made the list both times. The rankings are based on employee feedback from a 22-question online survey, open to Chicago-area employers with at least 100 workers.
The survey measured key organization qualities such as company leadership, compensation, training, diversity, and workplace flexibility. Employers selected for the Top Workplaces list were credited by their own employees with having dynamic, supportive and inclusive cultures.
