NCH Takes Heart Health Risk Assessments to the Web
Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) recently launched HeartAware, a free web-based risk assessment program that estimates an individual's risk of cardiovascular disease. Participants identified as being higher-risk are offered a free consultation with a cardiac rehab nurse who conducts a more thorough assessment and prepares a formalized report for the individual to share with their doctor.

Cardiac Surveillance Unit Transitions to Private Patient Rooms
Effective December 1, the Cardiac Surveillance Unit (CSU) will become a fully private patient care setting in the East Pavilion. Additional process and design improvements will improve physician and staff workflow.
Doctors Comply With New Home Care Guidelines for Face-to-Face Encounters
