CareLink Updates

CareLink Mobile Physician Portal

A mobile care rounding enhancement is being piloted in CareLink. The mobile physician portal will allow you the convenience of viewing patient-related information via certified smart phones.

The following tabs are accessible via this view-only application: Census, Lab and Radiology Results. In addition, you will have access to Flowsheet reviews including AdminRx, Assessment and Interventions, Vital Signs DAS and I&O to name a few.

Connectivity clinics are being planned for early December to assist physicians and mid-level providers in registering their phone for access to this mobile application. Please watch your medical staff e-mail and announcements in the medical staff lounge for more information on the connectivity clinics.

ECG Rhythm Strip Forms Moving to New Folder

As of December 1, Central Telemetry's ECG Rhythm strip mounting forms will be scanned into Medical Records folder: Telemetry Monitoring Strips. Currently these forms, item #16779, are scanned into the Medical Records folder: Cardiology Reports.

CT Abdomen/Pelvis Order Improvements

Starting December 7, it will be easier for you to select the proper CT Abdomen/Pelvis order via CPOE. Orders will be contained within a CT Abdomen/Pelvis Exams outline and an Infolink will provide a crosswalk to help you with this change. If you have any questions or need clarification about these changes after they are implemented, please contact Dr. Stephen Zivin via office: 847.618.5875 or cell: 312.339.2022.
