Beginning Sunday, April 29, Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) will standardize the hours of operation across each of its four Immediate Care Centers. This adjustment will make the greatest impact to the Immediate Care Center in Buffalo Grove, which will no longer operate as a 24-hour site.
NCH's four Immediate Care Centers in Buffalo Grove, Lake Zurich, Mount Prospect and Schaumburg will be open weekdays from 7 am to 10 pm, as well as weekends and holidays from 8 am to 6 pm.
Conveniently located throughout the surrounding northwest communities, NCH Immediate Care Centers give doctors a trusted resource to rely on for after-hours patient care. Each Center is staffed to treat most minor injuries, including minor fractures, sprains and strains, as well as upper respiratory infections, flu, earaches, sore throats, nausea, vomiting, and skin irritations — almost anything short of serious trauma or life-threatening situations.
In addition to providing urgent care, the NCH Immediate Care Centers include outpatient imaging services, cardiac diagnostic testing, and a full-service lab draw site (services offered vary by location). Appointments are required for most imaging services whereas walk-ins are always welcome for urgent care needs, X-rays and lab draws.
