Changes in requirements for procedural sedation privileges
Maintenance in ACLS, NRP or PALS certification as well as completion of a computer-based training course will be required for all non-anesthesiologist physicians who administer or supervise administration of sedative and analgesic medications by Oct. 15, 2013.
