Northwest Community Healthcare's (NCH) Medical Group recently acquired the private practice of Gastroenterologist Nikos G. Christopoulos, MD. The addition of the Arlington Heights-based practice expands NCH Medical Group's gastroenterology practice to three specialists at three office locations.
Dr. Christopoulos has been in practice since 2005 and is board-certified in gastroenterology. The practice – located at 1700 W. Central Road, Suite 220, in Arlington Heights – has changed its name to NCH Medical Group.
"Joining the NCH Medical Group enables me to spend more time practicing medicine and less time tending to the operational responsibilities that come with managing a private practice," said Dr. Christopoulos. "I'm now surrounded with the resources of an integrated system of care that brings together primary care doctors and specialists, as well as award-winning hospital services."
According to Michael Hartke, executive vice president of Clinics and Regional Services, the NCH Medical Group is seeking primary care and specialist physicians with the highest quality standards, professional conduct, and a firm commitment to superior patient service.
"We respect physicians' autonomy in their practice of medicine, and provide the technology, business management, marketing and referral resources for long-term success and security," says Hartke.
NCH's goal behind its integrated system of care is to deliver exceptional results to patients every time, at every location, and in every interaction.
