NCH is hosting a free educational seminar about joint pain, joint replacement options and NCH's new Fast Track recovery program. NCH's joint pain seminar is on Wednesday, May 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the NCH auditorium at 800 W. Central Road in Arlington Heights. Orthopedic surgeons Thomas Kim, MD, and Eduard Sladek, MD, as well as NCH experts in nursing and physical therapy, will share information on the latest treatments and therapies for joint pain, including joint replacement. The doctors will explain knee and hip procedures, as well as the Fast Track program designed to help patients get home sooner and back on their feet faster. Those attending the seminar can ask the physicians questions about joint pain and joint replacement surgeries.

NCH is inviting women to make their next "girls night out" both fun and informative by attending its upcoming women's health events, "To Your Health." Held at Cooper's Hawk Winery in Arlington Heights, the free events kick off at 5:30 pm with wine tastings and information on women's health topics. NCH medical staff members will address women's health topics like mammogram, bladder health, and hysterectomy.
