Nursing is central to patient care in hospitals. Nursing is a vital contributor to improved patient safety and healthcare outcomes. Measures in this section reflect the amount of nursing care provided to patients at Northwest Community Hospital and other nursing sensitive measures. As a Magnet facility we use comparative information in quality improvement activities.

NCH participates in the American Nursing Association’s National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI). NCH is not allowed to display the national comparative data as it is a product of the American Nurses Association's National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators.
