Senior Services - TRIP - Township Riders Initiative Pilot
A new pilot transportation program in Northwest Suburban Cook County is now available to residents of five area townships-- Elk Grove, Hanover, Palatine, Schaumburg, and Wheeling. This intertownship transportation for medical puroses program was created to serve the needs of area senior citizens and persons with disabilities. TRIP is sponsored by the State of Illinois Public Act 093-1004, Illinois Department of Transportation, and the transit services are provided by PACE. This program was initiated by the Northwest Regional Human Care Council and the Northwest Suburban Transportation Consortium.
