Laboratory Tests
Northwest Community Hospital’s three Treatment Centers provide lab draw services for routine tests. The Hospital Laboratory then processes these tests.

Should your doctor require immediate results, you will need to go to the Northwest Community’s Outpatient Laboratory. It is located in the Busse Center for Specialty Medicine on the Hospital’s main campus in Arlington Heights. Your doctor does not need to be a physician on staff at the Hospital to receive lab results.

Treatment Center Lab Hours (for “routine” tests – all three locations):
  • 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday
  • Closed Holidays

Comprehensive Care

When you come to our Center for care, you can be assured that you will be treated as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that patients who need the most immediate care will always be seen first. Our goal is to make sure that all of our patients get the best care possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Sometimes a patient's condition requires additional treatment or follow-up care. Upon release from our Treatment Centers, you may be asked to contact your own physician for further evaluation. If you do not have a physician, we can refer you to one of more than 900 outstanding doctors affiliated with Northwest Community (see online directory). When necessary, you will also benefit from the full resources of Northwest Community Hospital, a comprehensive medical center with established experts in a wide range of medical specialties.
