Dealing with illness, medical condition, or injury can be especially difficult for children, adolescents and parents. Northwest Community Hospital's support groups help patients and families deal with asthma, diabetes, depression, chemical dependency, loss of a child, obesity and other physical and mental health issues.
Mother Baby Hour
New moms and babies share the experience of everyday motherhood with an NCH perinatal educator.
Diabetes Support for All Ages
Northwest Community is the only area hospital offering ongoing support for children and families dealing with diabetes.
Dealing with Grief

Al Anon Meetings
Support group for family and friends of alcoholics.
Adolescent AA Meetings
Adolescent AA meetings are held in the patient cafeteria of 901 W. Kirchoff Rd., Arlington Heights. They meet on Thursdays at 7:30 pm. For more information, contact 1.847.618.2700.
Children's Wellness Programs
Includes information about school health, and Northwest Community Positively Healthy classes and programs.
