Kimberly Nagy, R.N., M.S.N., NEA-BC, is the Chief Nursing Officer and Executive Vice President, Patient Care Services, at NCH. Her administrative responsibilities include inpatient care units, Emergency Services, System of Care – Care Coordination, Surgical Services – hospital and surgery center, Service Lines, Quality & Safety, Patient Experience, and Professional Practice. Nagy is a board-certified advanced nurse executive.
Before arriving at NCH in 2013, Nagy was vice president of operations and chief nurse executive at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, where she led in areas of patient care delivery, including inpatient care units, surgical services, emergency services and women’s & children’s.
Nagy led the organization’s efforts to achieve Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for nursing excellence.
Nagy graduated from Purdue University with Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in nursing. Her professional memberships include the American Organization of Nurse Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives, American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Nagy is committed to transformational leadership which facilitates new knowledge, the use of research and the advancement of innovative approaches to delivering preeminent patient care.
In addition to spending time with her family, Nagy enjoys boating and travel.
