In addition to spending time with his family, Hartke enjoys the outdoors and is an avid college basketball fan. As he puts it, “My participation in
athletics has had a profound impact on my life, my family, my work ethic and my professional
style. I have been on bad teams that had great individual talent and very good teams without as much talent. I love working with teams. I think that
good people can create great outcomes when they come together as a team. I have seen it playing basketball, and I see it here at NCH.”
