Cancer Survivorship Series: Staying Close, Staying Connected

Thursday, February 15, 2018 @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
For some couples, going through cancer treatment can make you feel closer than ever. For others, it can be more challenging

For some couples, going through cancer treatment can make you feel closer than ever. For others, it can be more challenging to maintain even the most basic elements of your relationship. Having any sense of normalcy within your partnership can feel impossible; let alone honesty, intimacy, consistent communication, or just enjoyment of each other.

No matter what your relationship experience has been, please join us for this post-Valentine’s Day discussion about how to cultivate and maintain emotional connection within your partnership during cancer.

Jenna Kiel, Psy.D., who is the Support and Family Programs Manager at Wellness House will lead the discussion.

This class is open to anyone diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. Whether you are still in treatment or have been out of treatment for years, this class is for you. We meet in the Radiation Oncology Department of the hospital, located in the lower level, just off the North Elevator.

Room or Location:
Radiation Oncology
Note:
