As we age, our healthcare needs tend to change and become more complex and challenging. There are many health concerns that are specific to the aging population, such as memory loss, falls, incontinence and polypharmacy. In addition, there are many social aspects of aging, such as caregiver wellbeing and access to community resources.
If you or a loved one are considering seeing a geriatrician, you are encouraged to attend this informational seminar that will provide an overview of what to expect and how to make the most of your visit. Light refreshments will be served.
Presented by Jowella Pineda, M.D., Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, NCH Medical Group.
