Cancer Survivorship Series: Building a Cancer Fighting Diet

What you eat is important when you have cancer. Your body needs enough calories and nutrients to stay strong. A thoughtfully planned diet may lead to more effective treatment results.
Anita Ratterman, RDN, CSO, LDN, dietitian from Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH), will lead the class. Learn to navigate the various terms used to define healthy eating, shopping and label reading while building a plant strong diet.
This class is open to anyone diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. Whether you are still in treatment or have been out of treatment for years, this class is for you. We meet in the Radiation Oncology Department of the hospital, located in the lower level, just off the North Elevator.
