Cancer Genetics: An Update (Cancer Survivorship Series)

Hereditary cancer risk assessment has become an increasingly important piece of cancer treatment and management.

Taya J. Fallen, MS, CGC, Lead Genetic Counselor for Insight Medical Genetics, will discuss how cancer genetics services have evolved in the last few years, the pros and cons of panel testing and the genetic counseling services available through Insight Medical Genetics, a private genetic counseling and testing company servicing the Chicagoland area.

This class is open to anyone diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. Whether you are still in treatment or have been out of treatment for years, this class is for you. We meet in the Radiation Oncology Department of the hospital, located in the lower level, just off the North Elevator.
