Local organizations raise $18,000 for patients at Northwest Community Healthcare

In this start of a new year, Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those who have given in such goodwill. There is much to be done and these efforts will make a difference!
“If serving is below you, leadership is beyond you”— this is the anonymous quote displayed prominently on the Elite Soccer Community Organization Facebook event page in celebration of a “Pink Out Soccer Game” fundraiser held on October 28, 2017. Their event raised $2,500 this past fall, and combined has raised almost $8,000 to benefit NCH patients over the past several years.
In addition, the PREP Hockey Club put its best skate forward hosting their “Pink at the Rink” event which raised $3,520 on October 15, 2017. This group has been fundraising since 2011 and has contributed nearly $10,000 to NCH in that time.
NCH patients are the grateful beneficiaries of these donations supporting the Gift-A-Mammogram Program. The NCH Foundation wants everyone know that Your Generosity Matters.
“These are two of our community’s outstanding youth organizations. It is so inspiring when parents, coaches and especially our young people come together for the benefit of others,” said David Ungurean, Executive Director of the NCH Foundation.
