NCH Opens New AFib Clinic

On Monday, October 2, Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) opened its AFib Clinic at 199 West Rand Road in Mount Prospect. The clinic is located in the same office as the Atherton Heart Failure Clinic.

Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) is the most common heart arrhythmia. AFib increases the risk of heart failure, stroke and other heart-related issues.

The clinic team is ready to help patients slow or prevent the progression and complications associated with AFib. The clinic team manages anticoagulation medications and other risk factors including sleep apnea, nutrition and weight management, hypertension and physical activity.
