Use your smartphone, tablet or computer to securely access Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) Virtual Health to video chat or talk by phone to a healthcare provider for minor illnesses like urinary tract and sinus infections, rashes, pink eye, headaches, colds, or flu.
“Access to healthcare for minor illnesses has never been easier or more convenient,” said Susan Nelson, M.D., Vice President of Physician Operations at NCH. “Whether it is 5 a.m. on a weekday or 11 p.m. on a weekend, you can talk and see a provider who will provide advice and, when appropriate, medication to treat a minor illness.”
Once logged into the site, you will be connected to or make an appointment with a provider who can see and talk to you remotely for a face-to-face or phone consultation that includes diagnosis and treatment. A provider will determine quickly if your condition can be treated online or whether your care requires you to visit a nearby medical facility.
Each NCH Virtual Health visit is only $35, paid by debit or credit card. A fee is not charged unless a virtual visit occurs. Those who have more serious medical issues will be referred to an NCH Immediate Care Center (ICC) or the NCH emergency department.
