We offer several choices in dining for your convenience, as well as various beverage and food stations throughout our campus in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Pay a visit to Jazzman's Café & Bakery or the Oasis Food Court for a variety of meal options. Or, place an order for room service using our At Your Request program.

Jazzman's Café & Bakery

Jazzman's Cafe

Located in the North Pavilion, Jazzman's Café & Bakery is within easy access to the Busse Center for Specialty Medicine or the Hospital's North Pavilion entrance. The friendly staff serves breakfast and lunch in a relaxing comfortable environment. Jazz up your day and visit the café:

Monday - Thursday: 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The Oasis Food Court

Oasis Food Court

Centrally located on the first floor of the hospital, the Oasis Food Court is a full-service facility that offers hot and cold meals to satisfy almost any appetite. Separate stations offer unique fare from soups and salads to made-to-order deli style sandwiches, pizza, burgers, hot entrees and more. It is open daily, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and weekends and holidays from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For a listing of our Daily Specials, dial 6368 from any hospital phone.

At Your Request

The Northwest Community Healthcare At Your Request room service program allows you to order a freshly prepared meal whenever you are ready to eat. Breakfast service ends at 10 a.m., but you can order from the lunch and dinner menu until we are closed. Please allow 45 minutes for delivery to your room by a Room Service Assistant.

Special Orders and Reminders

Patient Dining Reminders

  • Special Orders: Remember that some foods may need to be modified or restricted if your physician has prescribed a special diet, or if you are undergoing certain tests.
  • Please order only the foods you plan to eat, so accurate calorie counts can be monitored.
  • Please note the number of carbohydrate servings is listed after each food item. One carb serving equals 15 grams of carbohydrate.
  • For our patients with diabetes, please notify the nursing staff after ordering each meal, so we can best help you manage your diabetes. As you know, timing of blood sugar checks and medication is critical in keeping your blood sugar under good control.
  • Please have your food selections ready when calling extension 3663 to place your order.

How to Place an Order

  • Simply dial extension 3663 (FOOD) from your bedside phone.
  • Our staff will take your order and prepare your meal to your specifications. Please allow 45 minutes for delivery to your room by a Room Service Assistant.
  • Family members may also call on your behalf, or you can ask the Room Service Assistants for help. Please feel free to request help setting up your bedside table or opening the meal containers or packaging when the Room Service Assistant arrives with your tray.
