Stephen Scogna, NCH President and CEO, and Kimberly Nagy, R.N., M.S.N., NEA-BC, NCH Chief Nursing Officer and EVP, announced earlier this month NCH has entered into an agreement with Bridge HomeCare Partners, a national management services company that focuses on home care. Bridge offers significant experience in home care technology, operations and business services.
Scogna and Nagy noted in the announcement, “Home care is an increasingly specialized niche, and although we’ve maintained a strong program for many years, we understand the value of partnering with a national organization to improve quality of care, implement world-class technology, extend our footprint beyond primary and secondary service areas, and increase process efficiencies and standardization.”
The agreement with Bridge, which took effect August 1, includes the transition to a new electronic medical record for home care, extensive orientation and training and the retention of current employees.
“NCH remains committed to enhancing the patient experience for our home care patients, increasing efficiencies and improving employee satisfaction,” added Scogna and Nagy.
