The Wellness Center offers a variety of specialty classes that require payment and registration, including:

You will need to complete a registration form, also located in the lobby of the Wellness Center.

Aquatics Classes

Aqua Arthritis

Our Arthritis Certified instructors follow the guidelines of the Arthritis Foundation of America with instruction emphasizing exercises at your own pace. This warm water class is designed to allow for range of motion, endurance, and flexibility. All classes are held in our warm water therapy pool. Sessions run for 10 weeks. Choose one or two times per week:

Aqua Flex

Aqua Flex is a warm water class designed to improve joint range of motion, flexibility and balance. Stretching with gentle movement, proper joint and muscle alignment and over all well-being will be the focus of this class.

Tues/Thurs 5:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Aqua for MS

This cooler water class is designed for people living with multiple sclerosis and looking for natural relief of their symptoms. This class is taught by MS certified instructors and follows the guidelines of the foundation. Participants may be eligible for scholarships through the MS society.

Private and Semi-Private Adult Swim Lessons

Our one-on-one format will teach you the basics, sharpen your strokes or help you train for your next triathlon event. Please note: there is currently a wait list for swim lessons.

Private and Semi-Private Children's Swim Lessons

Children 6 months to 7 years will learn how to become adjusted to the water, basic swimming and safety skills. All children’s lessons are 30 minutes. Please note: there is currently a wait list for swim lessons.

Master Swim

An organized group swim program focusing on individuals who participate in competitive swimming and stroke improvement for 12 weeks. This program is designed for intermediate to advanced swimmers. Participants will receive a pre-/mid-/post-skills assessment for stroke development, speed and efficiency.

3 days/week program includes:

  • 36 total workouts
  • Pre-/mid-/post-skills assessment for stroke development, speed and efficiency
  • Develop a comprehensive weekly swim plan based on biometrics collected from participants
  • Weekly program plan for entire 12 weeks
  • Weekly workout assignments
  • 6 week check-in evaluation
  • 12 week exit evaluation

Intro to Master Swim

An introduction to participating with an organized swim team. This 12 week program focuses on stroke perfection and is accessible for all levels as participants learn at their own pace.

1 day/week program includes:

Mind/Body Classes

One-on-one Yoga

Are you new to Yoga, not yet comfortable attending a full class, want to improve your Yoga practice? Work one on one with our certified Yoga instructors to improve your practice and enjoy Yoga even more. This program provides personalized Yoga instruction for client/participants to provide more focused practice and individualized attention with precision guidance and modifications to provide safe, effective execution of poses.
This service is offered by appointment only.

Workshops and Master Classes

Specialty Yoga Workshops and Master classes are offered each quarter. For all intents and purposes, yoga workshops are specialty classes where learning objectives are achieved through lecture, discussion, and practice. Workshops move from theory to practice, with emphasis on understanding the theory.

Master classes are specialty classes in which learning objectives are achieved through in-depth practice accompanied by detailed instruction. A master class is like an extended practice session, except the focus is specific, and the flow may break for comments and questions.

General yoga classes often require students to focus on their own practice and go inward, holding discussion to a minimum. In workshops and master classes, students are encouraged to openly discuss the topic and even observe one another’s bodies and practices. Specialty classes provide a more relaxed learning atmosphere where students grow together rather than individually.

  • Classes will run based on the minimum required registrations received.
  • Refunds for classes will only be granted for a medical reason and must be requested with a physician's note and be presented during the current program session only.
  • The Wellness Center reserves the right to cancel, postpone or combine classes or substitute instructors. If there is insufficient enrollment for a program, participants will be notified in advance and will receive a full refund.
  • To provide the best possible service, class sizes are limited, with wait lists as needed.
  • Only classes cancelled by the Wellness Center will result in a make-up class. In classes that meet more than once, a make-up may be allowed for a medical reason with a physician's note, space permitting. Drop-in rates may be available.

Non-Member Utilization

  • Participants registered for a program who are not members may utilize the locker room, if needed, 15 minutes prior to class starting time. All other areas of the facility may be utilized by paying a guest fee.
  • Non-member participants must present their class pass at the Service Desk.
