Enhance your health and fitness with our classes which offer a variety of options designed to meet the needs and interest of our diverse membership. All of our classes are led by trained, certified professionals. Not sure if group exercise classes are right for you? Here are just a few of the benefits of participating:

Aqua Arthritis

Following the guidelines of the Arthritis Foundation of America, Aqua Arthritis instruction emphasizes exercising at your own pace.

Warm water improves joint and range of motion.

Boot Camp H2O

Boot Camp H2O is a HIGH INTENSITY water fitness program that provides the benefits of a pool, with little to no impact on joints and expands lung capacity, as well as the benefits of weight and resistance training of a traditional routine. Boot Camp H2O sets new standards in water-based fitness that CHALLENGES swimmers of all ages and physical shape. Whether you are a recreational swimmer or you have an extensive aquatic background, the hour-long session will PUSH YOU TO YOUR LIMIT.


ISR Infant Swimming Resource's Self-Rescue® Demonstration

Keep your family Safe! Give your child the competence, confidence and skills of aquatic safety with Infant Swimming Resource’s Self-Rescue® program. The safest provider of survival swim lessons for children 6 months to 6 years of age. Come enjoy a 30 minute demonstration of an ISR lesson and a brief Q&A session. When you register for the upcoming session you will receive special demo pricing and exciting prizes! Demonstration will be held Saturday October 29 and will begin promptly at 10:30am in the pool with a Q&A session to follow. Limited space available for this event. Children's Swim Lessons

Children 6 months to 7 years will learn how to become adjusted to the water, basic swimming and safety skills. All children’s lessons are 30 minutes. For more information, call our Aquatic Coordinator at 847-618-3522.

Private Youth Swim Lessons

Youth 8 – 18 years will enhance swimming skills, stroke technique, turns and starts. Our experienced instructors will help prepare and train for competitions. For more information, call our Aquatic Coordinator at 847-618-3522.


Twilight Learn to Swim

This program is focusing on mature adults who have not learned the skills necessary to swim, it is never too late!


Group Exercise

Ballroom Dance Intermediate

Add on to the skills you learned from the intro class and become the life of the party at your next engagement. Learn new and exciting routines to all the classic styles like Swing, Salsa, Tango, and more!! Wear smooth-soled shoes that allow you to slide and spin freely. Ballroom dancing is known to improve mood, brain function, build cardiovascular endurance and strength. You will also have some smooth moves to show off to your friends at your next gathering.

H.I.I.Therapy Workshops

Introducing H.I.I.Therapy! Combining aerobic exercise, inspiring music, and purposeful guided visualization, this 60-minute cycling class seeks to create an immersive experience focused on generating insight and deeper integration with your mind and body. Designed from recent research about neuroscience and physiology, this class is unlike anything you have experienced. Leave this class with a renewed sense of energy and purpose. Intro to Ballroom Dance

Put on your dancing shoes! Develop the skills needed to feel confident on the dance floor, whether you’re getting ready for a wedding, work function or looking for a fun, social, painless way to exercise! Learn or review introductory patterns of the most popular dances: Swing, Salsa, Foxtrot, Waltz and more to keep you on the dance floor all night long. Learn leading, following and techniques that will help you enjoy dancing to the max. Wear smooth-soled shoes that allow you to slide and spin freely. Ladies should wear a 2-inch heel for proper balance.

Total Control Fitness Class

This class will focus on creating a stronger core, back and pelvic floor. In addition to learning gentle, effective exercises, you will learn lifestyle changes and nutritional support to help get you in the best shape ever.


Work the Barre

Work the Barre is a high-energy, full-body workout that will rev up the calorie burn. This class will have your core on fire with a great mix of mat and barre techniques. (No ballet experience is necessary.) This program will help improve lean muscle mass while improving balance, flexibility, and range of motion.

Zumba Party®

Come join the party! 2 hours of Zumba with 4 different instructors. Each instructor will provide various routines ranging from salsa, merengue, reggaeton, hip hop and more. You get not one but two full hours of dancing while burning extra calories. For ages 10 years and up.

Saturday, September 24, 3:30-5:30 p.m.


Come join this fun with ZumbaKids®. This is the only class format designed for children ages 6-11 at the Wellness Center. Learn different Latin style dance exercise routines while moving and having a great time with other friends. *Minor waiver must be signed by parent or legal guardian. Parent/legal guardian must remain on Wellness Center premises during this class.

Meditation Yoga Flow

Meditation Flow Yoga is a class designed to focus and relax the mind and body. This class will allow you to let go of outside stressors and make much needed time for yourself. Class may include restorative poses, longer holds, gentle asana, breath work, and moving meditation. Class will also include at least a 20 minute guided meditation and relaxation. Come and enjoy this restful yoga practice to help bring peace and balance.

One on One Yoga

Are you new to Yoga, not yet comfortable attending a full class, want to improve your Yoga practice? Work one on one with our certified Yoga instructors to improve your practice and enjoy Yoga even more. This program provides personalized Yoga instruction for client/participants to provide more focused practice and individualized attention with precision guidance and modifications to provide safe, effective execution of poses.

Miracle Ball Healing Class

Combining methods of Elaine Petrone's Miracle Ball method and LifeLine Technique (a powerful tool for harmonizing any emotional or physical symptom being expressed your body and/or life), this class will help you to center, focus and re-balance while maintaining a healing connection to body, mind and spirit. Multiple class offered in March, April and May.


Warm Yoga Flow

Join us for an invigorating warm slow flow yoga class in a moderately heated (75-80 degree) room! We will explore traditional yoga asanas (postures) with attention to alignment as we connect movement to breath in a vinyasa style practice. Each class will build from postures on the floor, to a standing slow flow sequence, and back to the floor for stretching and preparation for deep relaxation. The warmth of the room, along with the connection of your movement to your breath, will facilitate increased flexibility, detoxification, focus, and clarity of mind.

Personal Training

Kinesis Training

Experience Kinesis, a dynamic movement system that improves your strength, flexibility and balance. Return to the origins of movement by taking what the body does naturally and adding resistance, improving efficiency in daily activities. Race Training

Looking to improve running economy and avoid injury for an upcoming 5k or Marathon? Our Wellness Center Personal Trainers will help you identify starting goals, conduct a fitness assessment, gait analysis, and 3 one-hour personal training sessions. We’ll help you achieve results through strength-training and proper running tutorials! Take your game from the starting line to finish line with this limited time offer! Small Group Training

Small group training provides motivation and results through groups of up to four participants working with a certified personal trainer while fostering a sense of community among participants. Small group training is a cost-effective and fun way to experience the benefits of working with a personal trainer. This support network facilitates success. Level 1: Personal Trainer. TRX® Training

What is TRX®? It is part of the field of suspension training, a form of resistance training in which a variety of body weight exercises can be performed. The TRX Suspension Trainer, developed by Navy SEALS, takes advantage of gravity and your bodyweight to challenge every muscle, especially your core. Whether you’re just beginning your journey into fitness or pushing towards your summit, TRX training gives you a fun, effective approach to help you achieve your personal best! Prenatal and Postnatal

Postnatal Mom and Me Pilates/Yoga

This class mixes yoga and Pilates in a playful, gentle, yet challenging way, allowing new Mom’s to participate and bond with their babies. Lean Yoga and Pilates exercises designed to strengthen the core, while improving posture and flexibility. Handouts will be provided for continuation of practice at home. Feel free to bring blankets, toys pacifiers feeding necessities, etc. Fussing, breast feeding and/or bottle feeding during class is typical and perfectly acceptable. *Class is for those children 6 months and older. *Child care available in the Wellness Center’s Kids Club by reservation only, reservations must be made 48 hours in advance of class time.

Experience the benefits of exercising in the water as it cools the body and reduces swelling.

Registration Information

How to Register for Classes

Please complete a registration form, located in the lobby of the Wellness Center.

Program Registration Policies

Late registrations will be assessed an additional $10. Classes will run based on the minimum required registrations received. Refunds for classes will only be granted for a medical reason and must be requested with a physician's note and be presented during the current program session only. The Wellness Center reserves the right to cancel, postpone or combine classes or substitute instructors. If there is insufficient enrollment for a program, participants will be notified in advance and will receive a full refund. To provide the best possible service, class sizes are limited and wait lists are created as needed. Only classes cancelled by the Wellness Center will result in a make-up class. In classes that meet more than once, a make-up may be allowed for a medical reason with a physician's note, if space permits. Drop-in rates may be available if a current class is running.

Non-Member Utilization

Participants registered for a program who are not members may utilize the locker room, if needed, 15 minutes prior to class starting time. All other areas of the facility may be utilized by paying a guest fee. Non-member participants must present their class pass at the Service Desk upon each arrival.
