NCH is home to experienced cardiovascular specialists, advanced technology and a specialized clinic offering high-quality care for atrial fibrillation (AFib) and other heart arrhythmia disorders.

Our board-certified electrophysiologists perform complex catheter ablation therapies to treat a multitude of heart arrhythmia disorders, including many of the same procedures performed at large academic centers.

AFib Clinic

Our collaborative team of specialists at our AFib Clinic provides transitional care and support to patients newly diagnosed with AFib in addition to patients who require ongoing management. Located at 199 W. Rand Road in Mount Prospect, our AFib Clinic’s multidisciplinary team of advanced practice providers, nurses, dietitians and other clinicians work with our electrophysiologists to help patients manage AFib. The team uses evidenced-based protocols to develop personalized treatment plans to slow or prevent the progression and complications associated with AFib.

Cardiac Device Clinic

We provide follow-up care to nearly 1,700 cardiac device implant patients both in our clinic and through remote monitoring. The device clinic is located in the Cardiac Diagnostics Department in the NCH Busse Center at 880 W. Central Road in Arlington Heights. For information or appointments, call 847-618-7920.
