Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Women who are facing a high-risk pregnancy rely on the guidance of a Maternal-fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist to guide them through the unique challenges they face. We offer Maternal and Fetal Health services in collaboration with NorthShore HealthSystem, and offer a full spectrum of consultative, diagnostic and therapeutic services for women and their babies during pregnancy. Our MFM clinic is conveniently located at the main hospital campus.

An interdisciplinary care team provides a unique approach to the pregnant woman, her baby and her family through state-of-the-art ultrasound technology and specialized nurses, physicians and support staff. This approach greatly enhances quality of care and individualized management.

A neonatology consultation is provided for women whose babies are identified as having birth defects or are suspected to need special care at delivery.
