IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution
A tax savvy way to give! Funds must be transferred directly from your IRA custodian to NCH Foundation through a check from your IRA. For a QCD to count toward your current year’s Required Minimum Distribution, the funds must come out of your IRA by your RMD deadline, which is generally December 31 each year.
Transfer of Stock or Securities:
Giving stock is a practical and tax-savvy way to make a donation. A gift of appreciated stock can help defer capital gains tax while also writing it off as an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift.
Employer Matching
Many employers will match (and sometimes exceed) your charitable contributions. Check with your HR Department for specific details on matching options. It’s a great way to help your donation make an even bigger impact.

Memorial Gifts
There is no more meaningful way to honor the memory of a friend or loved one than through a gift that will positively touch the lives of others. If you wish, we will notify a family member of your thoughtful gift. Many families choose to include NCH Foundation for memorial donations in their loved one’s obituary or ask for donation envelopes for memorial services and visitations. Estate Giving
This type of donation includes charitable gift annuities, wills and estate planning, trusts and more. This method can help you increase income and save on taxes. If you decide to make a planned gift, you’ll become a member of the Living Legacy Society.
