Free Webinar: NCH answers vaccination questions

April 14, 2021

A community member takes notes during a webinar presented by an expert on the COVID-19 vaccine.
Susan Nelson, M.D., will answer COVID-19 vaccine questions during an online town hall meeting April 21. Dr. Nelson’s town hall will be presented in English, and on April 22, Henry Dominicis, M.D., will provide a similar town hall in Spanish.

Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) will provide two free Vaccination Town Hall events via Zoom. Susan Nelson, M.D., NCH Vice President of Physician Operations, will lead an English language Town Hall on Wednesday, April 21 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  Henry Dominicis, M.D., NCH Physician Director of Ambulatory Services, will lead a Spanish language Town Hall on Thursday, April 22 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

“We know there are community members who still have questions about the vaccine, and our goal through the two Town Halls is to help our community learn the facts about the COVID-19 vaccine and get their questions answered,” says Dr. Nelson. “There are many questions and myths surrounding this vaccine and by sharing the science about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine we hope to increase the vaccination rate in our communities.”

Reservations are not required, attendance is free and all are welcome to log on to the Zoom webinars at https://zoom.us/j/91305628460

Both Town Halls will begin with a short presentation of COVID-19 vaccine information, and be followed by a question and answer session. Questions may be submitted in advance at coronavirus@nch.org.  During the Zoom session attendees will be able to send questions via the “chat” function to have those questions answered during the live event.
