The local news site Patch.com recently reported that the last COVID-19 death in Arlington Heights was on July 10, 2020 (as of press time). To many, this brings a sense of relief that life is returning to “normal.” However, scientists and medical professionals have long warned of a second wave of the virus, which should definitely keep people on their toes and reminds us to continue to strictly follow precautions like hand washing, wearing masks and social distancing.
