Brush strokes help patient recover from stroke
Following a stroke in 2016, Tina Primer found herself hospitalized for two weeks. Three months of inpatient rehabilitation followed, after which the Palatine resident returned to NCH for our Day Rehabilitation program, receiving occupational and physical therapy. Unable to use her dominant right hand, she learned to paint with her left hand and regained the art form she loves.
