Vaccine and Booster Update

NCH is currently vaccinating patients ages 12 and older and providing Pfizer boosters to those eligible.

First and Second Doses
First and second doses are available by appointment only at NCH ICC locations – Mount Prospect, Kildeer, Buffalo Grove, Schaumburg and Palatine at Harper College. Appointments can be made through MyChart, directly at NCH.org or by calling 847-618-0242.

Third Dose
The CDC recommends that people who are moderately to severely immunocompromised receive a third dose of the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine at least 28 days after the completion of the first two doses. Appointments can be made through MyChart, directly at NCH.org or by calling 847-618-0242.

Booster dose (Pfizer only)
Pfizer booster shots are available at this time for those 65+ and those age 18-64 with high risk conditions or who work in high risk jobs that have completed their second Pfizer dose more than 6 months ago. Boosters are administered at the NCH Vaccine Clinic at 3060 Salt Creek Lane, Arlington Heights. Appointments can be made through MyChart, directly at NCH.org or by calling 847-618-0242. The clinic is currently open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am – 6 pm.

We have not received approval for boosters of Moderna or Johnson & Johnson at this time.
