Why I vaccinate

November 10, 2021

NCH employees are passionate about keeping their patients, colleagues and loved ones healthy and safe, and want to share their reason for getting their COVID-19 vaccine!

Moises is the Operations Manager of NCH’s Immediate Care Centers (ICCs) so the vaccines have been one of his top priorities since they became available. At the NCH Vaccine Clinic, Moises is responsible for managing the registration staff.

If you’ve already been vaccinated, whether at NCH or another healthcare provider, we thank you! If you haven’t, it’s not too late to protect yourself. Vaccines are available for free at our five ICCs. Appointments are strongly encouraged at our ICCs in Buffalo Grove, Kildeer, Mount Prospect, Schaumburg and on the campus of Harper College.

Name/Credentials if appropriate: Moises Lorenzo
Title/Role: ICC Operations Manager
Role in the vaccine clinic: Manages the registration team
Department: Immediate Care Centers
Current hometown: Round Lake Beach
Why I got vaccinated: As a front line worker, a husband and father, I got vaccinated to contribute to the solution and more importantly, to keep my family safe at home. Since I work in our Immediate Care Centers, I am potentially exposed to the virus on a daily basis. Getting vaccinated gave me the peace of mind I needed to comfortably interact with my wife and kids.
