Alzheimer’s Disease Caregiver Support Group

When: Fourth Monday of each month: 7:00 pm
Where: Arlington Heights Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005

Sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association-Greater Illinois Chapter, the group is open to the community. It provides emotional support and practical information for family members and caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s Disease. Participants will be encouraged to share information and exchange coping skills. Educational topics will also be provided to update attendees on the latest research and medical treatments available for Alzheimer’s Disease. For more information, call 800‑272‑3900.

Brain Waves: A Stroke & Brain Injury Community Support Group

When: Third Thursday of the month: 2:30 pm–3:30 pm
Where: 901 Kirchoff Rd, Arlington Heights

Join our stroke and brain injury support meetings, which
are open to all stroke and brain injury survivors,
caregivers, and families. Come share personal stories,
meet new people, and learn about topics focused on
recovery. Each week, we focus on a different topic
through discussion, guest speakers, presentations, or
activities. Families and caregivers are always encouraged
to participate!
