Our Wellness Center is now offering Youth Fitness Programs for kids and teens between the ages of 9 and 18.
With our new Wellness Center youth fitness programming, young athletes will experience camaraderie and team-building in a safe, supportive and high-energy environment. Coach-to-athlete ratios are optimized for individual instruction and attention. While our program is great for developing assets applicable to sports performance, children and teens that are not on a formal sports team are welcome.
Our Rookie Program is designed for ages 9 to 12, while our Prep Program is designed for ages 13 to 18. Membership at the Wellness Center is not necessary for children and teens to participate.
This strength-and-conditioning program offers:
We prioritize proper movement mechanics to optimize safety and efficiency in our athletes. Our emphasis is on overall strength and conditioning, as opposed to specialized, sport-specific instruction.
All Prep Program participants may join the Wellness Center as a member for $100 for the full duration of their session dates, if they would like to utilize the Wellness Center anytime. If parents of participants in Rookie and Prep programs are non-members, they can work out for free while their child is training.
All classes are limited to 12 participants to promote safe social distancing and follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. For questions or registration information, contact our personal training manager, Lauren Checchin, at email@example.com or 847-618-3506.
Private Swim Lessons
Age: 8 years and up
These swim lessons will help develop and refine all swim strokes. They are designed to help focus on water safety skills, while progressing through swim strokes. Private lessons are provided with a 1:1 student to instructor ratio, all levels welcome. Each session is 30 minutes.
Cost (per swimmer): $160 member/ $195 nonmember (five lessons)
Semi-private Swim Lessons
Like private lessons, semi-private instruction will give you or your child plenty of one-on-one attention, but the class will include one other participant. Semi-Private Lessons include two swimmers and are only recommended if the participants are similar in skill level and more likely within the same household. As with private lessons, semi-private lessons let you come up with goals. When children learn how to swim with another peer, they engage in social interaction. This allows for bonding between the children, making learning more fun.
Cost: $130 member/ $195 nonmember (five lessons)
